About Us
Feel at home on our organic farm Sonnleitnerhof!
There are many animals on our farm: cows, calves, chickens, goats and rabbits which you can feed and pet.
Our playground boasts enough space for children to romp and play (trampoline, swings, sandbox, lookout tower, pool, climbing frame) and at the same time offers a great view of the free-stall barn as well as the pasture on which the animals graze.
Find Upper Austria’s 1st medicinal herb garden opposite our organic farm. Take in the scent of fresh herbs on a walk, energise and feel comfortable.
Cosy, family-friendly hiking trails lead you from our farm through the beautiful municipality of Klaffer am Hochficht where a great emphasis is put on herbs.

About Us
Feel at home on our organic farm Sonnleitnerhof!
There are many animals on our farm: cows, calves, chickens, goats and rabbits which you can feed and pet.
Only 7 km from our farm you can go skiing in the family-friendly ski resort “Hochficht” (children's area with magic carpet and restaurant). The centre of Nordic skiing in the Bohemian Forest is only 7 km from our farm as well. It has a network of 80 km of cross-country ski trails for classic and skate style.
After a day spent outdoors in the snow, relax in the infrared cabin or simply sit down by the cosy fireplace in our traditional living room.

Enjoy a rich breakfast with many products from our organic farm or from our own garden.
We serve home-made jams, fruit juices and herb syrups as well as various spreads with vegetables from our vegetable bed. Our hens provide us with a fresh egg for breakfast everyday. We get milk, butter and yoghurt from another farmer. Cheese and sausage is bought in organic quality as much as possible. Fresh pastries are available from the bakery in the neighbouring village.
Savour our organic beef at a cosy barbecue in the evening or use it when you cook yourself in your holiday apartment. Of course, you can purchase our beef to take home.
Our snack garden is especially popular among our young guests. There you will find strawberries, redcurrants, raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, blueberries and much more.
Our rabbits, goats, and cats are looking forward to being petted and cuddled, the calves and cows need to be fed, and the chickens need their grain and fresh water every day. Therefore you are welcome to help us in the barn in the evening and look after our animals!
