About Us
Welcome to the Moamoosgut in Göriach in the Salzburger Lungau region!
Our family-friendly Moamoosgut farm is located in the idyllic village of Göriach in Salzburger Lungau, nestled in the heart of the Niedere Tauern mountains.
In our newly constructed house at the Moamoosgut, we offer two beautifully furnished holiday apartments with top-quality amenities, ideal for a relaxing holiday. In our garden, you will be able to unwind, escape and simply enjoy nature, while your children will be nearby, where you can keep a close eye on them, having a marvelous time on the playground. During the nice summer weather, the occasional evening spent around an open campfire is a must. We grill hot dogs and “stick bread”, then happily munch on both close to the fire.
In winter, if you are interested, you are more than welcome to lend us a hand in the barn and see how we go about milking the cows. In summer meanwhile, the cows are out on our high pastures. Back at the Moamoosgut, however, we still have to take good care of the other animals including the rabbits, pigs and hens. So of course, big & small are always invited to help us out.
In summertime, the Moamoosgut is a perfect base for countless hikes and mountain bike tours in and around Göriach.
In winter, you will find the access point for a cross-country ski trail right next to the house. Furthermore, a number of mountain lifts – such as those of the Fanningberg, Grosseck & Speiereck, Aineck & Katschberg and Obertauern – are within a half-hour’s drive of here.
