About Us
Welcome to our organic farm house!
We are pleased to welcome you to our special place on the eastern lakeside in the hilly mountains of lake Attersee. Here you will find both peace, relaxation, enjoyment as well as adventures in nature - as you like your holiday to be.
Bruckbacher - our house name
Each farm house in Austria has got its own name 😉. Ours is easy to remember, because every way you are approaching our estat by car or on foot, you have to cross the brook over a bridge, that's the story behind. The house is built of stone inmidst the meadows and pastures of our colleagues, the cows.

At Bruckbacher's farm house
In Austria, each farm house has got its own individual farm name 😉. Our name relates to the fact, that you have to cross a bridge over a brook every time and from either side you want to approach our estate, thus 'Bruck' means bridge and 'bacher' relates to den brook you have to cross... By the way: our house is made of stones.

... a completely new-built wooden shed called Troadkastn related to the fact, that in former times and today, corn was/is kept there

- three pygmy goats called Flocky, Mecki and Sugar-pie
- our two cat-sisters Susi and Nicki
- 10 rabbits of all shades - always hungry
- about 40 hens laying white, sandy, brown and turquoise eggs
- one cock surveying his ladies and protecting them from the fox
- Romeo and Juliet - our waddling ducks, always nosy and chatty
