About Us
A different kind of holiday with family and friends!
At around 1,300 metres above sea level, we offer organic holidays with organic sauna at its finest.
For over 30 years and already in the 4th generation, we have been running our house as an organic mountain farm.
Our holiday homes and the holiday flat are furnished with local wood and natural clay walls. The walls are insulated with sheep's wool. Animal welfare is our top priority. Everything we do is in harmony with nature. Our guests can also experience this when they help out directly on the farm.
Enjoy the magnificent view of the valley in the early morning, the first rays of sunshine over the mountain peaks, the unspoilt nature and the special feel-good atmosphere in our house.
Fontanella is the starting point for a variety of hikes. Visit our Alpe Fatnella - just 30 minutes away - and enjoy a breathtaking view and a delicious snack.
The Seewaldsee can be reached on foot or with the "Marktbähnle" and offers fishing and swimming opportunities.
With the Bregenzerwald and Großes Walsertal Guest Card (from 3 nights) you can use all cable cars, swimming pools and public buses free of charge.

Fontanella offers many opportunities for winter and snowshoe hikes or sporty ski tours in the snow-covered winter landscape.
Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding are just a few kilometres away. Both challenging and family-friendly ski areas can be reached within a few minutes by car using the free ski bus.
A special highlight is our bio-sauna, where you can really relax after an eventful day's skiing.

A wide variety of animals are kept at the Burtscher organic farm.
Many of them are real eye-catchers or protected animal breeds, such as the yak cattle - originally Asian high mountain cattle.
