About Us
Nestled in the unspoilt mountain landscape, Alpe Fatnella welcomes you at almost 1,500 metres above sea level with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, Rote Wand (2,704m) and Glatthorn (2,134m).
Our organic alp was rebuilt in 2009. Only local mountain wood was used for the construction. Clay walls provide an additional cosy atmosphere. Our own organic sauna invites you to relax and unwind!
Far away from the crowds, noise and hustle and bustle, you can experience animals grazing on lush meadows, undisturbed nature, fresh air, peace and relaxation!
We serve you our delicious snacks on the sun terrace.
Experience a time-out in the middle of nature!

Wir freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch während der Sommermonate!
In summer, we sell our own award-winning alp cheese in unique organic quality, as well as alp butter and yoghurt directly on the alp.
We are happy to offer you on advance order:
- first-class yak meat - fresh, deep-frozen or mildly smoked
- veal
- various farmhouse sausages
Take advantage of your stay in the Großes Walsertal Biosphere Reserve to get to know the delicious delicacies, local specialities and typical regional cuisine.
A wide variety of animals are kept on our alpine pasture!
Many of them are real eye-catchers or protected animal breeds, such as the yak cattle - originally Asian high mountain cattle.
