About Us
Spend your days off at the Heidegg holiday farm in Andelsbuch in the middle of the Bregenzerwald. A farm with over a hundred years of family history. A valley known far beyond its borders for its unspoilt nature, breathtaking architecture and the hospitality of its people.
Enjoy the beautiful mountain panorama and the soothing tranquillity all year round. Switch off and relax in a deckchair in front of the house with a view of the many colourful, silently flying paragliders in the sky, by the Bregenzerache with its rushing mountain water or in the warm dining rooms, where you should definitely not miss out on the many culinary variations of the famous Bregenzerwald mountain cheese. Explore the three-stage farming system with the foothills and Alps of the Bregenzerwald by bike or on foot.
Of course, the region also offers plenty of opportunities for adventure-hungry visitors, whether rafting, climbing or mountaineering. It is also very popular to see the Alpine paradise from a different angle: From above, paragliding directly from the front door.
To get to the "Niedere", you have to go to Bezau to the Sonderdach mountain railway or take the car or bus to the mountain station, from where you can go hiking or paragliding. The Andelsbuch mountain railway has been closed since summer 2023.
TIP: Paragliders have the special opportunity to land directly at the holiday farm on the Heidegg.
Between May and October you will also receive the Bregenzerwald Guest Card directly from us from 3 nights, with which you can use all free swimming pools, mountain railways and public buses to the nearby towns of Dornbirn and Bregenz free of charge.

We offer you the chance to be in your own winter fairy tale in idyllic surroundings. The sledging slope in front of the farm is an experience for adults and children alike, and why not explore the surrounding ski region too. You can hire sledges from us. After a 15-minute drive, you will arrive in the ski regions of Mellau/Damüls, Bödele or, one which is very popular with young families, the Schetteregg children's play area.
The Andelsbuch - Niedere ski region is only a 10-minute walk away. The mountain with a gorgeous view.
Ideal for SNOWSHOEING - SLEDGING- SKIING or even just for HIKING.
Enjoy a great day's skiing and come home to a cosy apartment made from local spruce wood, which is safe and warm and has underfloor heating to merely add to the homely atmosphere found here. What more could one want from a holiday.
Farm products and catering
At the holiday farm on the Heidegg you get directly from the farm
• fresh cow's milk
• free-range eggs
• a glass of Enzian brandy
Freshly caught and prepared trout is available throughout the summer in the farm's own Tanna restaurant at the fish pond in nearby Bersbuch.
All other daily necessities are available directly in the village centre in Andelsbuch at the local bakery, the Andelsbuch dairy with shop, where the milk from our animals is processed directly, in the cheese house or the local grocery store.
