About Us
Welcome to "Röckbauer" - welcome to a different world! Our organic farm is situated at the foot of Bad Gastein in the sunny village of "Remsach" amidst the Gastein mountainscape. We offer two cosy holiday apartments in log cabin style appointed with carpentered solid wood furniture and natural materials, which ensure modern living comfort in a cosy atmosphere. A suitable location for people of all ages, especially families, and an ideal starting point for magnificent walks, hikes, cycling tours and mountain tours. Children always have plenty to do on a farm and can befriend to children and animals. Gasteiner bathing lake is only a 5-minute walk from here and golfers (or those interested in becoming golfers) are offered a special treat: a 25 % green fee discount for house guests on the new adjacent 18-hole golf course! Visitors preferring something a little more "rustic" are welcome to join us for a hearty snack on an outing to our "Astenalm" alpine pasture! New: the free Gastein Card with many fantastic discounts! About Us
Welcome to "Röckbauer" - welcome to a different world! Amidst the magical snowy scenery in the middle of the town of "Remsach" situated at the foot of Bad Gastein, you can spend an unforgettable winter holiday with us. The ski lifts in Bad Gastein as well as Bad Hofgastein or the two new thermal spas with "sauna landscapes" are easily reached in approx. 6 minutes. not far from our house is an entry point for the cross-country ski run, or a starting point for kilometres of walks through the wonderful winter scenery. Children will find plenty of space in and around the house to romp and play, or make friends with our pets and animals. Because "when the children are happy, the parents can enjoy their holidays." In our new holiday apartments built in cabin style, a beautiful day of skiing can find a cosy end, or use our "farmhouse parlour" for a convivial evening. From Innsbruck approx. 2 hours: Motorway via Wörgl, B 312 via St.Johann/Tyrol to Lofer, B 311 via Zell am See to Lend, B 167 to Gastein or motorway - Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, Gasteinertal exit, B 167 to Gasteinertal.Coming from the south, drive via Villach, Möllbrücke, and Obervellach to Mallnitz, and from there take the convenient motorail service to Gastein. Arriving from Bad Hofgastein: After the 2 traffic circle in Bad Hofgastein, continue for approx. 1 km in the direction of Bad Gastein, turn left at "Bertahof" Inn towards Bad Bruck, past the company "Gasteinerwasser" up to a bridge, then turn left again and follow the road for approx. 1.5 km. Our house is already clearly visible from the riding club. In the village of "Remsach", please turn right at the first intersection. Arriving from Bad Gastein: After leaving Bad Gastein, "Bertahof" Inn is located on the left. Turn right in the direction of Bad Bruck, continue past the company "Gasteinerwasser" up to a bridge, then turn left again and follow the road for approx 1.5 km. Our house is already clearly visible from the riding club.
