About Us
A warm „Griaß enk!“ from Waidegg, a small village in the beautiful Gail Valley.
Our farm is nestled in the heart of this charming little village, and with it, our country cottage. Our guests stay right with us on the farm, yet they have their own four walls in the form of the cozy country cottage. Peace and relaxation are therefore guaranteed, but we are also always happy to open our stable doors to those who are interested, bringing farm and country life closer to our guests.
Especially in summer, there are so many possibilities; right here in Waidegg you will find, for example:
two restaurants, farm shops, a golf course, a horse riding stable, and many other highlights.
The cycle path, which winds through the entire Gail Valley, is also just a few pedal strokes away.
Nature lovers and those looking to unwind will also get their money's worth, as we are surrounded by beautiful nature with numerous walking and hiking opportunities.
The Gail Valley is very close to the border, so Italy and Slovenia are also not far from us.

About Us
For winter sports enthusiasts, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy these pleasures in the colder months. The ski bus takes you to the valley station of the Nassfeld in Tröpolach in just a few minutes. Of course, it is also possible to drive there in your own car. In addition to Nassfeld, Carinthia's largest ski resort (110 kilometers of slopes), there are also several smaller ski areas in our region, such as the ones in Griminitzen or Kötschach-Mauthen. Cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs are, of course, also a must. When it is cold enough, you can also go ice skating on Lake Presseggersee or Lake Weissensee. And if the weather should thwart your plans, there are also indoor activities, such as various museums, the Klesch (climbing hall) in St. Daniel, or the Aquarena (indoor pool) in Kötschach-Mauthen, to name just a few.
Animals
We run our organic farm as a sideline with a main focus on lamb fattening, although our sheep spend most of the summer on their own alpine holiday. But that does not mean our barn is empty during the summer months. Always to be found are the goats Mika & Elvis, the guinea pigs Remi & Demi, the rabbits Schnuffl & Chipsy, the pygmy sheep Zilly, Flocke, and Flora, as well as our small flock of chickens. Then, of course, there are also our farm guardians, the dog Alpha and the two cats Roxy & Mitzi. You will also find a rustic bee house on our farm, where a few busy bees live.
