About Us
Dreikanthof, built in 1780 and protected as a historical monument, will transport you into another time. This holiday home in former Heuboden, refurbished in August 2013, offers everything the heart desires, above all ample space and peace for rejuvenation.
Experience traditional farm management firsthand. Sense the harmony with nature and animals. In the summertime, cheese and quark (curd cheese: Austrian "Topf") are made with care from our own goat's milk. Guests are more than welcome to take part in the milking and cheese making. Once a week, we bake farmer's bread in the wood furnace made of stone bricks. Early risers have a chance to take part in bread baking every Friday.
Located next to the Salzburger Land state border, the farm is surrounded by meadows and forests. The area is perfectly suited for cycling and hiking, and within a 30-kilometer radius you can enjoy many sports (e.g. bicycle tours, hiking, water sports, horse riding, mountain climbing…), as well as cultural activities and museums. (City of Salzburg, Oberndorf's Silent Night Museum, the Cities of Mattighofen and Braunau)

We’re still working on the winter site, which will be available shortly.
Our Sulmthaler chickens lay an egg (sometimes even two) daily. Once a week, we make farmer's bread in our wood furnace according to a traditional recipe.
Our farm is bustling with Sulmthaler chickens, our rooster Leo, our goats Klara, Liesl, Vroni, Rosa, Mali, and Willi the billy goat. There are also two curly-hair hogs and a house pig.
Our rabbits and cats are always glad to have children visit.
