About Us
Our farm is located in the Waldviertel eco-region (altitude: 650 m).
More than 2/3 of the farmers operate their farms organically and with humane husbandry. Our holiday apartment is primarily built of natural wood.
location: Our locality, Sankt Martin, is situated amidst the health centres of Moorbad Harbach and Bad Großpertholz. The farm itself is located directly on the small river Lainsitz, at the foot of the Wachtberg Mountain, near Central Europe's oldest paper mill in Central Europe, where you can try your own handmade paper sheet.
Typical farm features: Pets are also welcome here. Furthermore, our farm is located directly on the Waldviertel riding trail.

Arrival
From Linz to Bad Grosspertholz driving through Steinbach and then left hand, the signpost to Harmanschlag, you see the yellow house with the big Linden tree, directly near the bridge on the small river Lainsitz.
From Gmünd-Weitra, you pass St.Martin and go to Oberlainsitz. On the right side, you see the signpost to Harmanschlag and see the access road to our yellow house with the big Linden tree, directly near the bridge of the small river Lainsitz.
Waldviertel Region
Authentic experiences await you in the Waldviertel region, the north-western part of Lower Austria. Tall pine trees, reservoirs with an abundance of cool water and ancient castles are characteristic features of the landscape in the north. Fields of poppy that are bursting with colour add to the beauty of the scenery. At the same time, they provide the basic ingredient for culinary delicacies that the region is famous for. “Waldviertler Mohnnudeln” (sweet gnocchi with poppy seeds) is one of the signature dishes here.
