Once a year (in the fall) there is a "Schafaufbratln" in Lungau. This culinary custom involves roast sheep ("Schöpsernes") served in a "Reindl" with "Eachtling" (potatoes), "Krenkoch" (horseradish) and "Grantn" (cranberries).
This culinary "feast" is organized in several inns and restaurants in combination with live music.
