Have you ever seen how cheese is made? At the Karseggalm, once a week in summer you can experience at first hand how the dairymen make sour cheese. Of course, you can also taste the cheese specialties. It's best to combine this with a hiking tour! The Karseggalm is definitely worth a visit. At 400 years old, it is the oldest hut in Grossarltal, there is no electricity and the floor is still made of clay, everything is still done by hand.

2. whizz from the mountain to the valley on a mountain cart

An action-packed experience is the descent with the mountain cart from the mountain station of the Panoramabahn in Grossarl. The gondola takes you comfortably up to 1,850 m. Once at the top, you can go on a short hike, discover the sensory trail or let off steam at the nature adventure playground before the descent. If you want to jump straight into the fun - on your marks - ready - looos!

Every year in March , the Ladies Ski Week takes place in Grossarltal, attracting not only enthusiastic skiers but also well-known artists and bands to the valley. Numerous events take place during the day and in the evening. Sunshine skiing at its best, with the 1+1 model for ski passes for guests. A top supporting program and party highlights in the marquee await dance enthusiasts and party animals.
