Organic farming for more than half a century! This organic farm is nestled in the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel region. Grain, cereals, herb teas, fruit spirits and liqueurs, beef, eggs, potatoes, ... - the diversity of products from this farm is awe-inspiring. Organic food produced on site is offered for sale in the farm shop. A holiday apartment was renovated with a keen eye on the elegance of the simple things. Up to 4 guests can stay in the apartment furnished with natural materials (larch wood, clay plaster). A breakfast box with organic products is the ideal start of a day out in nature!

CHALET JOCHWAND

Bad Goisern, Salzkammergut

At the organic farm Biohof Jochwand, set at 800 m above sea leavel overlooking the Goiserertal valley, extensive and organic farming is a passion. Sustainability and biodiversity are the foundations of the farm which is home to heritage livestock breed threatened by extinsion. On the adjacent grounds, an old farmhouse was transformed into an eco-friendly holiday home built entirely with wood. Set in a secluded location surrounded by forest, the 100 m² chalet sleeps up to 6 people and boasts a breathtaking mountain panorama and view of Lake Hallstättersee. Look forward to luxury and well-being on two floors plus a warming sauna in the cellar.

SPERCHENEDERGUT

Aspach, Innviertel-Hausruckwald

Those who enjoy a rustic and cosy place will surely feel at home in the holiday apartment or in one of the double rooms in this 300 year-old farmhouse. An ample breakfast guarantees a good start of the day. A nice barbecue in the evening makes for a great end of the day. In the farm shop, you can buy organic Angus beef from the farm as well as food products from local producers. You're welcome to bring your horse which can stay in a large box stall on the farm. You may also use the floodlit paddock.

On the organic cattle farm near Lake Irrsee and Lake Mondsee, you'll find 2 completely renovated and modernised holiday apartments that can also be booked with breakfast. Look forward to fresh, home-made farm products such as milk and dairy products, sausages, fruit spirit and jams. The surroundings boast a plethora of outdoor activities - hiking, cycling, swimming, kayaking, stand up paddeling, diving and much more. A relaxing break for guests of all ages - 3 holiday apartments accommodate guests on this organic farm. Guests are welcome to help in the barn - the woolly ewes and their lambs need their daily feed and loving care. This farm is a creative place: learn how to produce a piece of Macramé or join a painting class. Kids' eyes will sparkle when they see the playground in the garden and at the stream in the forest. Plus, there's a private natural swimming pond where you can take a refreshing dip on a hot summer's day.

KÜRNSTEINERHOF

Rechberg, Mühlviertel Region

A very special type of accommodation awaits you on the Kürnsteinerhof, a farm in a secluded location surrounded by forests, meadows and pastures: the camper van Isidor. It's cosy, reduced to its essentials and has been built with natural materials and a love for details. This way, it seamlessly integrates with the philosophy of this organic farm - taking things a bit easier and quieter. The cattle, a local breed called "Waldviertler Blondvieh", is grazing on the pastures. And in the henhouse, there's a fresh egg for breakfast every day.

On the more than 900 year-old farm, a four-sided farmyard (characteristic of this region), it's all about herbs. The hosts focus on transmitting traditional knowledge of herbs, offering practical applications and informing about burning herbs. 180+ herbal delights such as digestifs made with herbs, teas, herbal incense blends, ... are offered in the farm shop. Guests can enjoy their holiday in a 130 m² apartment that sleeps up to 6 people. Would you like to have a picnic in the traditional orchard with mountain view?

BIOHOF VIERTL

Schönau im Mühlkreis, Mühlviertel Region

In an idyllic setting, you'll find this small organic farm - an ideal starting point for pilgrims on the "Johannesweg" (Way of St John), hikers, country walkers, mountain bikers and trail riders. The former hayloft has been transformed into two new holiday apartments. A breakfast box with home-made and locally sourced delicacies can be ordered on request. Help take care of the animals, join a guided horse-riding session on the paddock or visit one of the many attractions nearby. Look forward to a diverse holiday!

FERIENHOF EDTBAUER

Weyer, Kalkalpen National Park Region

On the foot of the mountain Heiligenstein, on a sunlit plateau surrounded by meadows and pastures, you'll find the horse farm Reiterhof Edtbauer. The newly built nature rooms and nature suites are the ideal place for a break, for horse riders and non-riders alike. Horse-riding classes for all ages are offered all year round. In the summer holidays, the hosts organise horse-riding camps for kids and teens.

DRAHTZIEHMÜHLE

St. Oswald bei Freistadt, Mühlviertel Region

Starting from May 2023, you can spend a relaxing holiday in a completely new building with 5 comfort double rooms on the former grounds of a mill called "Drahtziehmühle". The picturesque landscape of the Mühlviertel region is ideal for relaxing country walks. Find an archery course and carriage rides directly on site. Fancy a hay bath? You can indulge in one here - outdoors, if the weather's fine, or otherwise indoors.
