About Us

Step out of the house and straight into nature! The season of fragrant flower meadows: lace up your hiking boots right at the doorstep, put your backpack on your "Buggl" (back), and off you go into the empty forests or up to the mountain peaks, where regional culinary delights are served in rustic alpine huts. Our "Zottl" (highland cattle) are up on the alpine pasture from mid-June to mid-September, enjoying the alpine summer.

You can also prepare regional delicacies on the charcoal grill on the terrace in the fenced garden. Depending on the season, there are fresh berries and, of course, Tyrolean medicinal herbs.

The adjacent meadow offers various seating areas, whether directly by the gently babbling brook or hidden behind bushes - whether in the sun or in the shade - simply let your thoughts wander and enjoy the here and now.  In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset with a "Marend" (traditional snack) and a glass of wine, and you might even spot a few foxes and deer.

Our holiday guests leave feeling revitalized and ready for everyday life, and that is our mission - to offer valuable holiday days for body, heart, and soul.

Farm products and catering

Bringing the scent of hay to the palate! That is the annual challenge of processing the hand-cut and hand-selected herbs into liqueur, vinegar, and syrup.

The high-quality meat can be enjoyed next door in the small restaurant-cafe aHORN, which our daughter Sophie runs and where she wields the wooden spoon.

Animals

Our Scottish Highland cattle, also known as 'Zottl', lead a life in harmony with the cycle of nature. We win the trust of these wild animals so they become tame and you can pet them.

Our Zottl are very curious and peace-loving. If they are lying on their straw bed in the open barn and you just start talking, the first head will soon pop up, and then the next and the next……. They enjoy free-range access 24/7, and especially their spa area.

You are welcome to join us for the daily stable visit, including hay feeding, and learn some interesting facts.

From approx. mid-June to approx. mid-September, our Zottl are up on the alpine pastures in cooler altitudes.

Our horses, which can be reached after about a 10-minute walk, can be visited by arrangement.

The cozy and spacious holiday apartment offers plenty of natural wood, comfort, and a magnificent mountain view.
