Farming types
Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and our dog are waiting to be petted. In summer, the rabbits and guinea pigs can be taken to the outdoor enclosure daily. You can also watch the daily work in the barn with the cows. Guests are welcome to help care for the ducks and chickens, and if you are interested, you can learn more about the wild herbs that grow around the farm.
In the morning, you are awakened by the scent of freshly baked rolls. At the breakfast table, you will find bread, jam, applesauce, dried apples and pears, yogurt, cold cuts, pickled vegetables, juices, and much more, all homemade by us and grown here on the farm.

Our farm is situated on a sunny ridge with a beautiful view of the Tote Gebirge mountains.
At Ferienhof Zamsegg, you will experience a holiday in pure rural idyll. We are a specialized baby and children's farm. In addition to cows and calves, sheep and lambs, children can make friends with rabbits, guinea pigs, Elvira the goat, purring cats, Rudi the donkey, and our dog Amin. Many other animals, such as chickens and ducks, can also be observed.
From May to September, using the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard is a great attraction, offering many free services in the region.
Our farm is the starting point for many walking and hiking trails, such as to the village of Vorderstoder. Active families can hike to our own alpine pasture, the Wildalm, or the Zamseggerreith, and look for the young cattle and the flock of sheep. A stalking expedition is also possible!
We offer our guests: barbecue evenings, campfires, a playground, table tennis, basketball, use of the kitchen, and our own farm products such as schnapps, jams, oils, sheepskins, handicrafts, ...

In winter, enjoy one of the sunniest spots in the Stoder Valley and the magnificent mountain panorama. Our farm is situated at 800 meters above sea level, right on a beautiful winter hiking trail with benches that invite you to linger in the sunshine. After an eventful day in the wonderful winter landscape, our guests can get to know the animals, such as calves and lambs, cats, and rabbits. Furthermore, you can accompany us to feed the local wildlife. Weather permitting, natural tobogganing by torchlight is a very special attraction.
The Hinterstoder Höss ski resort is located just five kilometers from our farm. There are also several cross-country ski trails and guided snowshoe hikes available in the region.

On our farm, you can see all kinds of animals. In addition to cows, sheep, and goats, chickens and ducks can be observed. There are also cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs to pet. Rudi, our donkey, also loves to be cuddled. Our dog Amin watches over all the animals on the farm.

Directions from A9:
A9 until exit Hinterstoder, St. Pankraz. Then turn left on to the B138 and follow the road downhill. At the bottom is a turn-off to the left in the direction of Hinterstoder (to the right of this junction is Gasthaus Steyrbrücke). Before Hinterstoder you will see a petrol station on the left, after which there is a turn-off to the left in the direction of Vorderstoder. Drive approx. 4.5 km on this road. After a concrete wall and a forest there is an entrance on the left-hand side (you will see a sign for Zamsegg). From there drive 0.4 km and turn right at sign, after which drive another approx. 0.4 km, until you see the Zamsegg farm.
Drive from Kirchdorf an der Krems
Take the 138 until the turn-off in Steyrbrücke and drive in the direction of Hinterstoder. Before Hinterstoder you will see a petrol station on the left, after which there is a turn-off to the left in the direction of Vorderstoder. Drive approx. 4.5 km on this road. After a concrete wall and a forest there is an entrance on the left-hand side (you will see a sign for Zamsegg). From there drive 0.4 km and turn right at sign, after which drive another approx. 0.4 km, until you see the Zamsegg farm.
Route from Graz, Windischgarsten:
Leave motorway at Windischgarsten, take another left in the direction of Rossleithen. In the locality there is a right turn to Vorderstoder (sign posted). Travel along this road until you reach Vorderstoder. Drive through Vorderstoder, driving downhill until you reach a bridge and some houses. After which comes a forest, take the first right uphill (you will see the sign for Zansegg). Then drive approx. 0.4 km until the next crossroads where you will turn right. Another approx. 0.4 km and you will reach Zamsegg farm.
