Our farm lies in a sunny, peaceful stand-alone location, treating you to a magical view of the “Pongau Cathedral”. The Hochkönig greets you when you look out the window, while the nearby stream babbles peacefully by.
This location serves as an ideal setting for children, hikers and fans of outdoor sports. Hiking paths that pass right by our farm invite you to climb to the top of our local mountain, the Hahnbaum, or stroll through the valley and explore the small town of St. Johann.
On your way into town, you can show off your physical skills on the newly constructed tree parcourse. This free facility lies in the middle of the forest and demands lots of coordination from young and old alike. On hot summer days, the prospect of a refreshing jump into the cooling waters of the Forest Pool is impossible to resist.
In winter, the location of our farm is ideal for an array of winter activities. Whether a fun-filled sledding expedition, a leisurely ski tour or a hike through the snowy forest – all of these activities can be enjoyed from right here at our farm.
The vast Amade ski region is also just a short car drive away.
Nearby excursion destinations: Lichtenstein Gorge, Kitzloch Gorge, Hohenwerfen Castle and the giant ice caves. We would be happy to give you a few personal tips for hikes, special events or excursions in the region.
You won’t have any shortage of culinary options either. From simple regional homestyle cooking to upscale cuisine, you will find practically everything in our region.

Farm products and catering
You are welcome to enjoy a fresh egg for breakfast laid by our own free-range hens, or wind down your evening sipping on a glass of our fine home-distilled schnapps.
Animals
A whole throng of hens guarantees a plentiful supply of eggs, while two goats also contribute to the colorful goings-on in our barn. Cats and a farmyard dog are likewise part of the picture, of course.
Our cows and calves return from their alpine grazing areas in autumn. Here at our farm, we have cows of all ages, from our venerable 10-year-old lead cow to small young calves. Black, brown and Fleckvieh cattle graze peacefully next to each other. We should also mention, we still permit them to wear their horns with pride.
