THAT certainly at the family farm Winkelhof and in the resort of Klösterle am Arlberg which has a special appeal to visitors who are not looking for the ordinary. A winter dream!
In winter, the Sonnenkopf family ski area, located a 10-minute walk away, offers an ideal destination not only for families with children. Meanwhile, the Sonnenkopf is even considered an insider tip for all freeriders. In a few minutes by car or bus you can reach Stuben am Arlberg, from there you can take the Albonabahn to the largest connected ski area in Austria: Ski Arlberg.
The family farm Winkelhof as a starting point for skiers, ski tourers, tobogganers, cross-country skiers, winter and snowshoe hikers a paradise.

Nothing stands in the way of an extensive breakfast in the vacation apartment or a hearty snack. Enjoy³ and let us prepare the bread roll service, the farmer's breakfast, packed lunch or farmer's snack.
As a small, big speciality we offer you every Friday from 17:00 o'clock these delicacies as a prepared, delicious farm snack in a cozy atmosphere in the Ab Hof Lädile Winkelhof. We start with a guided tour at the Winkelhof. You will learn everything about animal husbandry, cheese production and life on the farm. We want to pass on our love for animals and nature. We offer this service daily for groups of 4 or more by appointment. Price per person: 12,50 Euro.
Animals
We - the Tuttner family - manage around 12 hectares of grassland in the mountain area with the Winkelhof family farm as a fodder base for our animals. We keep
- Dairy cows incl. young animals,
- pigs,
- goats,
- sheep,
- chickens,
- rabbits and
- all kinds of small and petting animals (quails, ducks, geese, cats).
We invite you to learn more about our farm animals and small animals, help in the barn and feel the life on the farm. With all your senses.
Fancy it? Be part of the haymaking in the mountain meadows or simply pick fresh berries and make them into jam? Or to take the still warm egg of the chicken and eat it?
The dairy cows incl. offspring stay in the summer on the alpine pasture, which you are welcome to visit there.

from the west (CH, FL): Via Chur - freeway from Zurich/Chur - exit Gams - Principality of Liechtenstein (FL) - Feldkirch/Tisis - through Feldkirch in the direction of Bludenz/Innsbruck - Walgau freeway A14 - S16 Arlberg expressway OR via St. Gallen- Motorway from Zürich/St. Gallen - Exit Oberriet - Meiningen - Motorway A14 in direction Bludenz from exit Rankweil - Ambergtunnel A14 in direction Bludenz/Innsbruck - S16 Arlberg expressway
from the east from Innsbruck (A): Via the Arlberg pass (during Arlberg pass closure via the S16 (Arlbergschnellstraße, Arlberg tunnel).
Leave the Arlbergschnellstraße (S16) at Wald am Arlberg (Dalaas, Klösterle). Turn off in the direction of Danöfen. Drive into the valley on the left side of the S16. Pass the Alpenhof St. Martin. At the next possibility (about 200m) turn left. After Chalet Klösterle turn right and reach the family farm Winkelhof at the end of the road.
By train
via Innsbruck or Bregenz/Feldkirch to the nearest train station "Langen am Arlberg".
By plane
Nearest airports are St. Gallen (Altenrhein), Zurich, Memmingen, Friedrichshafen and Munich.
