Hidden on its own alpine pasture, you will experience an authentic cabin feeling steeped in history. The lovingly renovated alpine cabin from 1880 combines original charm with cozy comfort.
Our alpine hut is located on its own mountain pasture, tucked away on the Flattnitz in the Gurktal Alps at 1,400 meters above sea level. The foundation walls have stood since 1880. The hut was newly rebuilt and renovated in 1997.
The alpine pasture offers everyone seeking peace and quiet special places to relax, recharge, and experience nature with all their senses.
In SUMMER, adventure and Kneipp trails as well as mountain hikes invite you to explore the surroundings. In WINTER, the ski and cross-country ski slopes are not far from the hut. Ski touring enthusiasts will find ideal conditions for tours in the Wintertalernock area.
Even if the sun is not shining, the covered balcony in front of the hut provides shelter from wind and rain, so nothing stands in the way of a cozy gathering outdoors. The alpine grill and outdoor seating invite you to spend pleasant hours together.
A well-equipped playhouse and the small stream behind the hut are sure to make children's hearts beat faster.
