Our chalet is located in the green heart of Styria in Rohrmoos bei Schladming and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The chalet is furnished with lots of attention to detail and the main material used is timber. It is suited for 6 people.

The chalet is the ideal starting point for the most beautiful hikes in the region, such as the one along the „die Wilden Wasser“ path.

In the evening, you can relax on the terrace and enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains.

Opposite of the chalet is the traditional „Waldhäuslalm“ restaurant, which is known for its culinary specialities. It also offers a spacious playground for children.

On your day of arrival you will receive the „Schladming – Dachstein Sommercard“, which offers numerous advantages for activities in the region.

Our home is the Abelhof farm near the chalet in Rohrmoos. We farm traditionally and organically.
During the summer months, our cows and their calves are on the mountain pastures. While the cows are in the mountains, ponys, goats, a donkey, geese, chickens, pigs, cats and our dog “Amadeus” are running around on the farm.

Fruits are collected from the trees in the orchard and processed into juices, jams and liquors.

Furthermore, collecting fresh eggs for breakfast is always a highlight for children.

During the summer months, our cows and their calves are on the mountain pastures. While the cows are in the mountains, ponys, goats, a donkey, geese, chickens, pigs, cats and our dog “Amadeus” are running around on the farm.

Haflinger horses can be found around the chalet in summer, while the Islandic horses are at the Abelhof farm, as they are used for horseback riding. During the winter months, the Islandic horses stay at the chalet, while the Haflinger horses are used for sled rides.
