About Us
Our farmyard is situated outside of the town centre, away from the traffic of the main street on a sunny south-facing slope with a panoramic view of the Wechelgebiet mountain. The holiday apartments and buildings are near to the farm buildings with their own sunbathing meadow, barbecue facilities, garden furniture ... and a lot of nature to enjoy as far as the eye can see.
Nestled among forest and meadows, the surrounding area invites you to relax, go hiking, mushroom picking and cycling. In Edlitz there is an open-air pool, a sports field and tennis courts for those wanting to pursue sporting activities. Excursion destinations include the pilgrimage site of Maria-Schnee, the windmill with viewing platform in Lichtenegg and the Wehrkirchenstraße, which runs through the Bucklige Welt. Further attractions such as the Austrian cider calendar and a hiking map can be purchased from us.

The holiday apartments and houses are by the agricultural buildings with parking, space for your ski shoes ... and a lot of nature, as far as the eye can see.
Whether a ski lift or thermal baths, both are less than 30 minutes away. The Dedication of Saint Mary Major pilgrimage site, the windmill with viewing platform in Lichtenegg and the fortified church road through the Bucklige Welt hill country are tried and tested excursion destinations. Further attractions such as the Austrian cider calendar and a hiking map can be purchased from us.

The Schwarz family
On our farm we are keeping suckler cows and pigs. In our forest we produce valuable timber for the industry, firewood and wood chips for the farm. We supply the market in Grimmenstein with our schnaps.
At Wachahof, cattle are kept for rearing and pigs are kept for sale as piglets. Further animals on the farm are our dog (Amika) and our cats (Mira, Nera, Sami and Alexa) as well as all kinds of wild animals around the farmyard.
