The farm offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and meadows. While the cows and calves spend their summer on the alpine pastures, you can enjoy the company of chickens and rabbits during spring and summer.
The newly built holiday apartment for up to 4 people features two cozy bedrooms, a balcony, and a sunny terrace.
The special highlight: Combine your stay with the whole family. The charming "Boid" mountain hut is located above the farm amidst a mountain meadow, just a 10-minute walk away!
Also benefit from the Wildschönau Premium Card from summer 2025, with numerous leisure activities and discounts. One of these is the free use of the mountain railway.
In our holiday apartment, you live directly on the farm, allowing you to join in the farm activities and observe or help with the daily stable work in our new modern barn.

The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal/Wildschönau ski resort is just 5 minutes away. There are also plenty of other winter sports activities such as cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Snow chains are recommended during heavy snowfall.

Farm products and catering
Between March and October, you can purchase our chickens, ready for cooking, either whole or cut into pieces.
During the rest of the year, you can also purchase frozen products. Our chickens are a wild breed that accumulates very little fat. Since they are given plenty of time to grow, they are especially tender and juicy.
You can get fresh milk directly from the barn. In the surrounding area, you can also find many other regional products. We are happy to provide recommendations.
Animals
Come with us to the barn and learn how to handle cows and calves. Help with the daily barn work and observe how the milk gets into the glass. In summer, when the animals are on the alpine pastures, you can also admire our Wildschönauer wild hens and help with feeding them.

Holiday Apartment Hochholz

Our 60 sqm holiday apartment is located in our newly built farm, Vorderzettn. We are situated a little above on the sunny side of Auffach. The apartment offers various amenities including a separate entrance. You can park directly in front of the apartment. You will be our only guests on the farm. In front of the house, there is a small playground. A balcony and a large terrace are at your disposal. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains of Wildschönau.
The apartment consists of a cozy living kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee machine. A seating area with the possibility to watch TV or simply enjoy some time together. The bedrooms are separate. One room has two single beds, and the other room has a double bed. A modern, beautiful bathroom with a large barrier-free shower awaits you. Amenities like shower gel and soap are available free of charge. The toilet is partially separate. Towels, bed linen, and final cleaning are included in the price. From summer 2025, we are also part of the Wildschönau Premium Card, which offers you various discounts, including free use of the mountain railways in summer.
