About Us
🐴 Vacation on a “real” farm
A vacation on our real farm, where horses, cows, rabbits, cats, Ouessant sheep (the smallest sheep breed in the world), ducks, chickens, and our beloved farm dog live, will be an unforgettable experience for you and your children.
Our farm covers around 58 hectares. Currently, we keep 15 cattle, 2 horses, a mini Shetland pony, and numerous small animals.
Riding our two horses, accompanied by Manuela, Sarah, or Laura, is a highlight for both children and adults – you can never get enough of it!
🧑🌾 Farm experience with all your senses
Of course, we are happy to have your help on the farm – whether during the hay harvest or in caring for our animals. This way, you can experience everyday life on our farm up close – authentic and joyful.
Sleeping in fragrant hay is a special experience for young and old – fun, natural, and unforgettable!
Around our cozy garden house, you can spend sociable hours with family and friends. We wish you Petri Heil while fishing in our pond – and we are happy to toast your catch at the following barbecue evening!

Our lovingly designed garden house is perfect for cozy barbecue evenings. While the children play on the nearby playground, cheerful rounds often form in the garden house – over a juicy chop and a cool beer.
Our little guests enjoy a spacious playground with plenty of room to run, climb, and play – directly on the farm and always in sight of the parents.

The central location of our farm is the ideal starting point for unforgettable experiences throughout the Salzburger Land. If you are interested in culture and history, we recommend visiting the "Kupferzeche" show mine or the mining museum.
An absolute highlight is the Mozart city of Salzburg, only about 50 km away – with its world-famous sights, historic alleys, and cultural offerings.
Moreover, our location offers an ideal base for day trips to natural gems such as: – the Grossglockner – the impressive Liechtensteinklamm – the fascinating Eisriesenwelt – the majestic Dachstein massif

Take romantic walks through the snowy nature – our farm is located in the heart of the beautiful SalzburgerLand and is therefore the ideal place for a relaxing winter holiday.
Right next to the house, the fields invite you to go sledding with snow discs. Or how about a joyful sledge ride with the whole family from the local mountain down to the Vordersattlegghof? With a bit of luck, you might even experience it in atmospheric moonlight.
☃️There is also plenty to discover and experience on the farm grounds in winter: Whether playful fun in the snow, cheerful sledding or building snowmen – imagination knows no bounds! You might even feel like creating an original snow bar together with other guests or starting a little competition.
If you want to stay active during winter, you can use our fitness room – ideal for maintaining stamina and well-being. After an eventful winter day, our infrared cabin invites you to relax and recharge.
And for everyone who wants to experience real farm life: We welcome helping hands during our daily stable work – a special experience for young and old!
⛷️Winter fun in Ski Amadé – Austria’s largest ski paradise
Just a few minutes by car from Vordersattlegghof lies Ski amadé, one of the largest winter sports areas in Europe – with 760 perfectly groomed kilometres of slopes and 270 modern lifts. Here, beginners, intermediate skiers and pros alike will find ideal conditions. Ski courses are offered at almost every lift station – perfect for anyone looking to improve their technique or start fresh.
Thanks to our central location, you are right in the ski area and can enjoy a different skiing adventure every day: Whether by car to Eben – Monte Popolo (12 min), Flachau (20 min), Filzmoos (20 min), Mühlbach (30 min), St. Johann Alpendorf (30 min), or even the Planai in Schladming (35 min) – all ski resorts are easily accessible and offer the perfect downhill run for every taste.
But that’s far from all: In addition to countless beautiful ski slopes, the cross-country ski trail invites you to enjoy sporty laps through a magnificent winter landscape. In the hometowns of numerous world-class winter athletes, you can also experience many other winter sports up close.

Farm Products
🥚 Our eggs come from our free-range chickens – it doesn’t get any fresher than that! Bread, jams and juices are also homemade and prepared with lots of love. 🍦 Even various ice cream flavors are made right here on the farm, offering a delicious and natural refreshment.
🍎 And when our fruit trees are full of ripe fruits in late summer and autumn, we are happy to invite you—after a quick consultation—to pick your own apples, pears or plums. A special experience – and the taste of freshly harvested fruit is simply incomparable!
Animals
🐴 With our horses, we go riding together with our guests. A special highlight for children: our mini Shetland pony, the Ouessant sheep – the smallest sheep breed in the world 🐑, our rabbits 🐇 and cats 🐱 – all our lovely petting animals.
🐶 Our dog Lea reliably greets all new guests and announces their arrival.
🐮 Our calves are allowed to drink from their mothers and of course stay with them out on the pasture – a beautiful glimpse into natural farm life.
🥚 And of course, our hens diligently take care of providing fresh eggs every day.
