About Us

The Voithof is located in the beautiful district of Hundsdorf in Rauris, amidst the Hohe Tauern National Park in Salzburg. Here you can enjoy a quiet, sunny location, only about two kilometers from the center of Rauris. With us, you will experience a true grassland farm with dairy cattle and our own offspring – hands-on farming.

On the farm, you'll find about 15 cattle, approximately 29 calves from our own breeding, a pony, and our great passion: the Tauernschecken goats, about 12 of them. The little kids are a highlight for young and old in spring. You are welcome to help out in the stable, be present during feeding, and get to know daily farm life. For children, there is plenty of space to play and discover – a playhouse, various play equipment, and a family-friendly atmosphere ensure that everyone feels at home.

Our new holiday apartment is also being built directly on the farm, offering you modern, cozy accommodation amidst nature.

Around the Voithof, you'll find meadows, forests, and a fantastic view of the Rauris mountain world. In summer, many hiking trails and bike tours start right on your doorstep. The Rauris Valley Museum, the gold panning site, or the idyllic alpine pastures are popular excursion destinations.

As our guests, you will receive the NationalparkCard, which offers you many attractions for free or at a reduced price.

In winter, the family-friendly ski area Rauriser Hochalmbahnen awaits you, along with beautiful winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails. This way, you can experience the Salzburg region at its best in every season.

Animals

At Voithof, there are around 15 cattle and about 29 calves from our own breeding. Additionally, there is a pony as well as our approximately 12 Tauernschecken goats and their kids. The animals can be visited on the farm, and you are welcome to help with feeding and in the daily stable routine.

Holiday Apartment

2 - 5 People

Our newly built, spacious, and comfortable non-smoking apartment is ideal for families or small groups and accommodates up to 5 people. It features two separate bedrooms. Room "Morgensonne" is equipped with a cozy double bed, while Room "Kreuzboden" offers a double bed and an additional single bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. A crib or cot can gladly be provided upon request to ensure even our youngest guests enjoy a restful sleep.

The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and includes modern amenities such as a dishwasher, oven, 4-burner stove and refrigerator, as well as all necessary kitchen utensils for self-catering. Adjacent is the inviting dining area, from which you have direct access to your private balcony. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape – the perfect spot for an al fresco breakfast or relaxed evening hours. For your comfort, fresh bed linen and towels are naturally provided. The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and a hairdryer. For entertainment, a flat-screen TV is available, and thanks to complimentary Wi-Fi, you'll always stay connected.

Our guests also have access to a beautiful garden with a swing, slide, sandbox, and trampoline.
