Doren offer, in addition to the perceived infinite natural space, an adventure trail, a reading trail, a lot of free space on the Bregenzerache in Doren-Bozenau from where the worth experiencing walking and biking trail of about ten kilometers from Doren to Egg on the former Wälderbahn route. The Bregenzerwald Cheese Route or the Bregenzerwald Cycle Path takes you further along the river through the Bregenzerwald to Schoppernau.

In winter a time out at the Vögelhof in the second sunniest community of the Bregenzerwald? It's worth it. For sure! The landscape around the farm is transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland.
The location of your accommodation lends itself to a versatile winter vacation in the Bregenzerwald and the Lake Constance region. Explore the nearby cities of Bregenz or Lindau on Lake Constance with their variety of culture, art and quality of life.
The Nordic Sport Park in Sulzberg, known far beyond the region as a cross-country skiing center for recreational and competitive skiers:in offers cross-country skiing at its best, as well as well-groomed and winter hiking and walking trails and the Border cross-country ski trail to Germany. Ski lifts to learn skiing (Sulzberg, Riefensberg for example) are easily accessible in 15 minutes by car. The largest ski area of the Bregenzerwald Damüls-Mellau can be reached within 30 minutes.

For your regional purchase of high-quality, organic products directly from the producer, the Biohof Lingenhel (0.8km) offers a wide range of the finest, peasant delicacies. The mountain dairy Huban (1.5km) and the local grocer in the village center of Doren (2.5km) offer you additional groceries and all daily necessities in the immediate vicinity.
Animals
Vögelhof in Doren in Vorarlberg is a typical regional dairy farm with its own offspring:

The young cattle spend the summer at the Zweitgut in Rain in Doren.

Arrival
By car
Once you arrive in Vorarlberg (A), take the A14 (Rheintalautobahn) through the Pfändertunnel and use the Bregenz exit. Keep to the right on the exit (do not go through the Citytunnel into the city center!) and at the end of the exit at the traffic circle drive in the direction of Bregenz. Follow Kennelbacherstraße for about 600 meters and turn right directly at INTERSPAR in the direction of Langen bei Bregenz and Doren. Follow the road for a good 20 kilometers. You drive through Langen bei Bregenz and keep right at the end of the village towards Doren. Just as you drive through the village center of Doren in the direction of Krumbach. After the mountain dairy Huban you will reach Doren-Moos. You turn left directly after Bio-Hof Vögel to Vögelhof (Moos 179a/1). At the end of the path you have reached your destination.
Coming from Kempten/Oberstaufen/Lindenberg (D) you drive in the direction of the golf course in Riefensberg or Langen and Doren.
By train/bus
via Innsbruck, Munich, Zurich to Bregenz. There you change to the Landbus 820 in direction Langen-Doren-Hittisau-Egg and get off at the bus stop Doren Moos (400 meters from Vögelehof).
By plane
From the nearest airports St. Gallen (Altenrhein), Zurich, Memmingen, Friedrichshafen and Munich you can reach us by train/bus or the airport shuttle services.
