Welcome to the our holiday apartment Ferienwohnung VEIT at the foot of the Bohemian Forest!

The market town of Aigen-Schlägl in the Mühlviertel region is a place where not only NATURE and CULTURE meet.

A holiday for couples, solo travellers, friends or families - a private house for you! Thanks to the ideal floor plan you can make yourselves comfortable in our holiday apartments HARMONY and SUNSHINE. The CLAY PLASTER in the rooms makes for an extraordinary ambience. I would be happy to guide you through nature and the countryside. A guided tour of the farm also holds many surprises, e.g. an original outhouse and an old stone cellar.

Just do what you feel like doing. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the beautiful NATURE and cuddly CATS. OUTDOOR and adventure activities are plentiful right on the doorstep. Whether it's a walk in the dense forest or a workout on the bike or with your hiking poles: Our region around the Bohemian Forest is ideally suited for outdoorsy guests. Feel, discover and enjoy nature!

Families with CHILDREN also feel at home with us. On our former farm you will find cats to pet and a large orchard with a playhouse. The heated "outdoor pool" and the natural swimming hole in the Große Mühl river make swimming a very special experience. There are three HORSE-RIDING FARMS 1 km from our house. They offer rides in a horse-drawn carriage and horse-riding classes. Watching the children play and be happy with them when they discover new things - that's a holiday at its best!

Do you want to be in HOLIDAY MODE the moment you wake up? On request, you can snuggle up in real LINEN BEDDINGS made in Austria, in our Mühlviertel region to be more precise (an extra fee applies). The local weaving mill “Viehböck” uses extra-fine yarn for making linen of the highest quality. Feel for yourself how silky and smooth, how cosy and soft it is!

The market town of Aigen-Schlägl in the Mühlviertel region is a place where not only NATURE and CULTURE meet. Restaurants, shops, concerts, cabarets and film programmes await you here - everything is within walking distance.

Arrival

From Linz take the B127 in the direction of Rohrbach to Öpping, attention, turn right at the crossing BEFORE Öpping then another approx. 5 km to Schlägl. In Schlägl turn right in the direction of Aigen for another 1 km. In the locality, take the alley to the right, going behind the church (Kirchengasse 9) and continue to the last building - you have arrived at our accommodation. In Aigen everything is signposted in yellow. Follow the signs to Familie Veit. The holiday home is on the farm. You will usually find us in the residential house or on the farm. Don't be shy - just come in or give us a shout! Should there not be space to park in front of the door, feel free to continue to the holiday home. After the residence, turn right onto Bahnhofstrasse, then take the first right again, then right again along the road through the garden for a little way. You will then find yourself at the right place, between the stable and the holiday home, and already on the farm. We look forward to your visit.
