About Us
Welcome to the Urhof – a retreat that combines the magic of past centuries with the comfort of our modern times. This exclusive chalet seduces with its rustic charm and thoughtful luxury – created for connoisseurs, peace seekers, and nature lovers.
Your private time-out begins here: A very personal SPA area with an outdoor sauna (Finnish, bio & infrared), the unique fire-water tub under the open sky, an oven fire that provides cozy warmth, and a stylish bathroom with genuine alpine stones invite you to relax. Three cozy bedrooms, a spacious kitchen-living room, and two roof terraces create the ideal setting for quality time with family or friends.
Every morning, a richly filled breakfast basket with farm-own products awaits you; upon request, we also serve dinner directly to the chalet (for an additional charge).

In winter, the Urhof becomes the perfect retreat in the snow. The Lesachtal is known as a snow pocket – snow reliability is no rarity here. Your winter fun starts right from the chalet:

What lands on your plate at the Urhof often grows right next door. On our adjacent farm, we passionately produce a variety of regional and seasonal foods – natural, spray-free, and with a whole lot of heart and soul.
Look forward to a fine selection of our farm's own products:
Milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, eggs, jams, honey, fruit spreads, apple juice, syrup, berries, apples, potatoes, salads, meat products, schnapps, grains, bread and much more.

Rustic chalet on two levels with a master bedroom featuring a large double bed and mountain views, and a rooftop terrace off the bedroom with a fire-and-water tub and sun loungers. On the lower level, you will find a large terrace with an outdoor sauna, a fully equipped kitchen, a cube-shaped living room, and a bathroom with a shower, double vanity, and separate WC.

Arrival
The Urhof Chalet is located in the village of Liesing in the Lesachtal valley. You can reach it by car, bus, or taxi.
Arrival by train: The destination station would be Tassenbach or Oberdrauburg. We are happy to organize a shuttle directly to the chalet for you!
Arrival by plane: Carinthia Airport in Klagenfurt is located nearby. Alternatively, Trieste or Venice in Italy are also possibilities. Salzburg would also be an option. We can pick you up from the airport by shuttle. However, we are also happy to organize a transfer by helicopter or book a rental car for you
E-mobility: For everyone arriving by electric car, we offer a charging station directly at the chalet parking lot. This is designed for all systems (Tesla adapter also available).
Arrival by car: You can enter the Lesachtal valley from the east or west. We will gladly send you directions for your personal route.
