Peace and nature: Just listen to the creek next to the alpine hut and completely relax...
Hiking: In our region you can enjoy wonderful hikes -the largest mountain in Austria, Mt. Großglockner, is very close.

Take a break

The lower Roner Kasa cabin is located at about 1,400 m above sea level in a large meadow, with panoramic views across the valley. During the summer, the cows spend their time in the pastures surrounding the cabin They are milked twice a day at the cabin. A small stream rushes by the hut, which is plenty of fun for the children.

The alpine cabin has two double rooms, which are next to each other. It is a newly built cabin with a cosy kitchen/living room, large seating area, electric cooker, wood-burning stove, sink, fridge, coffee percolator and bread maker. It also has a shower and WC Electric heating, and electricity There is a swing a places to sit in front of the cabin. Of course we have a barbecue for cosy barbecue evenings A cot bed and a USB internet key (fees apply) are available on request. There is a hunting opportunity.

Prices from 1 Jan 2012:

In the low season (April, May, June, September, October, November), the cabin costs EUR 350 per week and in the high season (July, August, December) EUR 510 per week, plus local tax and electricity. Around Christmas and the New Year, the cabin costs EUR 70 per night, with a minimum stay of 7 nights. Final cleaning € 20,-.For pets we charge EUR 2 per pet, per night.

Our cows spend the summer on the alpine pasture, and you are welcome to join in during milking and then enjoy fresh organic milk afterwards! 😉

Newly built cabin with a cosy kitchen/living room, large seating area, electric cooker, wood-burning stove, kitchen sink, coffee percolator and bread maker. WC and shower, electric heating and power are provided. The cabin has two double rooms, which are next to one another There is a new barbecue for cosy barbecue evenings. In front of the cabin, there's a relaxing seating area for nice evenings.

The journey to the Untere Roner Kasa is possible with your own car. Upon arrival, we will meet at Roner Hof, where we will then drive together to the alpine hut. The hut is only a 2-minute drive from the farm.

Arrival at the farm: From the A10, take the B106 Mölltal highway to Mörtschach. After the gas station in the village center, drive about 3 km uphill towards Pirkachberg.

For a smooth journey in winter, we recommend bringing snow chains!
