This vacation offers you mountains: Alpine meadows - fresh air - unique nature - pure relaxation!
During the summer months, the Falkert offers guests a varied recreational program, including guided herb walks, climbing, sunrise wildlife observation, visits to alpine farmers, and much more. Alternatively, explore the alpine meadows in your own way. A visit to "Heidi Alm" is also worth the trip. Our guests receive a free family entrance. Enjoy our own mountain playground with trampoline, table tennis, slide, and the highest "farmer golf course," where both adults and children can have fun. Afterward, enjoy the sunset while grilling at our hut. Or indulge in regional delicacies at our restaurant, Kärntnerhaus. During the summer months, the Falkert provides a diverse range of recreational activities, including climbing on the climbing wall, a children’s via ferrata, sunrise wildlife observation, guided hikes, and much more.

Do you want to go skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and much more? And all of it in a cozy atmosphere without stress? Then you’ve come to the right place! Of course, there is also a wonderful winter recreational program with guided torch and snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing introductions, ski touring introductions, and ski school races. A hearty mountain hut evening with live music and hut fun is also a must. Ask about our package weeks in January and March. So, head up the mountain and experience winter. Rustic Ambiance with Modern Comforts. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove with oven, microwave, and toaster. After a hike or an exciting day on the slopes, you can relax your muscles in the infrared cabin, and then unwind in the cozy armchair by the tiled stove while enjoying the beautiful view. There’s also plenty to discover in the traditional “Troadkastn” (a traditional Austrian storage cabinet).

Arrival
Motorway Salzburg A8, Tauern motorway towards Villach A10, exit Seeboden-Millstätter-See B98 to Radenthein, from there drive along the B88 through Bad Kleinkirchheim, past the golf course in the direction of Turrach, turn left after 500 m - large HEIDI and sign for: Erholungsgebiet Falkertsee 8 km. After 7 km, turn right towards the Kärntnerhaus. After approx. 100 m you will see our sign on the right: TROADKASTN.
From Vienna, drive via the Semmering Pass - Judenburg - Scheifling - Murau - Predlitz - Turrach - Ebene Reichenau - Vorwald. Then turn right towards Falkertsee.
