About Us
Our luxurious country-style stone pine 'Troadkasten' is nestled in the heart of untouched nature at the foot of the Wimitz Mountains. Here, you can unwind and relax 24 hours a day: start your day with breakfast on the balcony, enjoying magnificent panoramic views and fresh air. Then, take in the beautiful surroundings on a hike along one of the farm's own hiking trails, and enjoy a wide range of sports activities and excursion destinations. Relax with a good book in our panoramic wellness area. In the evening, sitting by the campfire next to the swimming pond, you can decide what soothes you more: the crackling of the fire or the gentle splashing of the water.
The adjacent Schlintl-Hof is an organic mountain farm in a secluded location, right at the edge of the forest above the fog line. From here, you can go on beautiful hikes without encountering many people.
There are 2 hiking trails on our own property where you can recharge your batteries undisturbed, and if you need to cool down afterwards, you can simply jump into the swimming pond.
If the sun isn't shining, you can warm up in the panoramic wellness area's sauna or infrared cabin.
Do you love animals? Then you've come to the right place, because we have almost every kind of animal that belongs on a farm – cows, pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, rabbits, countless cats and, of course, our farm dog Alois!

About Us
Our farm is located 10.5 km below the Simonhöhe family ski area, which is particularly popular with children. Many of our visiting children made their first attempts at skiing at Erik Schienegger's ski school.
But the surrounding meadows of the farm also invite you to go sledding, build a snowman, have a fun snowball fight, or simply romp around in the snow.
For all those seeking peace and quiet, a forest walk in our snow-covered mountains is simply the most beautiful way to recharge strength and energy.
A game of Bavarian curling (Eisstockschießen) together at the Harterwirtin is also very popular, where you can warm up properly with hot cider and a little schnapps.

With us, you can enjoy genuine, regional delicacies – all fresh and straight from the organic farm. The chickens provide daily fresh eggs, and our homemade salami and bacon offer the savory taste of traditional craftsmanship. And for those with a sweet tooth: Our homemade jams made from the farm's own fruit bring pure freshness and love to your bread. In the evening, a shot of our fine brandies is a must, but our fruit is also processed into apple juice, apple cider, apple cider vinegar and walnut oil. Let yourself be spoiled by our natural and homemade products – a piece of Carinthia on your plate!
We have the precious alpaca wool processed into blankets, pillows and shoe insoles!
Experience life on our farm – animal-tastic! We have almost all the animals that belong to a real mountain farm. Countless alpacas will charm you with their big, round eyes, every cow is called by her name, and our chickens roam free. The ponies Lena, Lana, and Lauris love being groomed by the children! In addition, you will find sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and even trout. And not to forget, the many playful cats getting up to mischief around the farm. But the most important member of our animal team is Alois, our loyal farm dog, who is always there and never misses out on daily life on the farm.

The stone pine granary has been constructed from all natural materials. The ground floor contains the living area, kitchen and bathroom, and up the spiral staircase on the first floor you will find one bedroom with double bed and one with single bed.
The untreated stone pine timber of the walls exudes a comforting aroma throughout the building, and this together with the warmth of llama-fleece blankets ensures you will enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.
