🏡 Your very own house, in the heart of the Carinthian mountains ⛰, surrounded by Carinthian lakes 🚣‍♀️

Toms Lodge is a cozy gingerbread cottage, located on the sunny side of the Gailtal valley at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level.

👩‍❤️‍👨 The cottage is the ideal place for couples (with a maximum of 2 children) who want to enjoy the summer away from crowded lidos: dandelions, daisies, and forget-me-nots transform the surrounding meadow into a colorful sea of flowers as early as early summer. From the sun terrace, you have a direct view of the Gartnerkofel – the home of the rare Wulfenia flower. Gentle hikes can begin right from the lodge, while the wilder Carnic Alps are just a few minutes' drive away. It is highly recommended to plan a day trip to the crystal-clear Weissensee lake and spend a beach day at the particularly warm Presseggersee lake. Cyclists will also get their money's worth: the Gailtal cycle path R3 leads from Kötschach Mauthen all the way to Villach. For those specializing in downhill trails, you can let off steam on the single tracks and flow trails at Nassfeld (6 km away).

Natural wood, red checkered fabrics, a patchwork rug: in Toms Lodge you will find classic country house style combined with a touch of luxury. A double bedroom and a pull-out sofa provide sleeping space for a maximum of 4 people. The 100 m² south-facing terrace is partially covered. Double advantage: in rainy weather, the living space is extended to create a beautiful outdoor area, and on hot summer days, a little shade is always welcome.

🐝🦎🌸 Surrounding the cottage are our own meadows, which are grazed by our cows 🐄 in the summer. The gentle mooing and the ringing of cowbells will accompany you through your countryside holiday.

🥘🥗🍝 Toms Lodge is essentially a private retreat just for you. However, if you do not want to miss out on the convenience of catering, you have the option of having breakfast and dinner at the Berghotel Presslauer. The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from Toms Lodge and serves excellent, home-cooked regional cuisine.
