About Us
Welcome to the Thumeserhof
at 1,500 metres in the hamlet of Wildlahner, surrounded by a fantastic mountain backdrop at the foot of the Olperer - one of the highest mountains in the Zillertal Alps at 3,476 metres. From here you can enjoy your activities in nature. Explore the flora, relax or barbecue by the stream, ride your bike or play and much more.
In summer you can go on an exploration tour with the alpaca siblings Belmiro and Nari. A few astonished faces are guaranteed. Enjoy the untouched nature. Farmer's wife Hany is a specialist in herbology. We are happy to serve a regional mountain breakfast on request!

The hereditary farm has been owned by the Plattner family since 1728. Today Hany and Andreas manage the farm. Living to the rhythm of nature fills us with satisfaction and enriches our lives. Do you love the winter? - Then you've come to the right place. Farmer Andreas is an enthusiastic mountaineer and ski tourer and is happy to give recommendations for your tours. Our farm is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes, mountain and ski tours directly from our house. We are happy to serve a regional mountain breakfast on request!

Our Hofladele offers products from the region and many delicacies that we produce ourselves. The guests can help themselves in the Ladele (that is a box).
In summer the alpine herbs are picked and further refined. This is how products such as wonderful herbal salts, sour honey, tinctures are created and these are incorporated as active ingredients in our homemade natural cosmetics.
Jams, syrups, chutneys and liqueurs complete the product range.
The delicious eggs come from the hens, the fresh milk from the cows, which is also processed into butter. At this time there is also buttermilk. During the alpine pasture season, delicious cheese is produced.
