About Us
At the foot of an idyllic alpine basin, in the middle of the surrounding family hiking mountains of Nockberge National Park, you will find the Thomannbauerhütte: What a cabin! From grandsons to grandpas, from aunts to other relatives, there is room for everyone. Ideal starting point for reaching the surrounding family hiking mountains.
Features: Large, cosy parlour with tiled stove. Equipped kitchen with seating area and walled wood-burning stove with oven, hot running water, crockery and glassware. Dish towels and hand towels, bed linen. Washroom with 2 showers, 2 WCs, 5 bedrooms each with 2 to 4 beds.Electricity for light, fridge, small appliances from our own generator. Hot water from solar system. Trout pond directly next to the cabin, wooden skittles alley, children's play equipment, cabin games, alpine library.
Arrival: Gmünd motorway exit, from Eisentratten 12 km through the Nöringgraben. 4 km via gravel road.
Rental periods: May to October, other times upon request
