Feeding the cows, watching them being milked, experiencing the stable work, or simply romping across the meadow – children experience real country life with us. The Tengghof is particularly child-friendly and offers plenty of space for playing, discovering, and just being a child.

Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the farm into the Carinthian mountains. The Gerlitzen Alpe, the Wöllaner Nock, and the panorama of the Karawanks & Julian Alps make you want to get moving in the fresh mountain air. Whether a leisurely stroll or a sporty tour – hiking on a farm holiday has never been so easy.
🏞️ Central yet quiet – lakes, mountains, and cities close by
The Tengghof is quietly and sunnily located on the "Sun Seitn" (sunny side) of Arriach – far away from noise and hectic pace. And yet you can reach Villach in just 25 minutes, or the Lake Ossiach and Lake Afritz. Skiers will also get their money's worth in winter – the Gerlitzen ski resort is very close by.

Milk, eggs,
On our farm, there are cows that produce fresh milk every day and calves that are kept for breeding. Our chickens are responsible for the fresh breakfast eggs. Mr. Karlson, our donkey, provides a nice change of pace and is delighted when he gets a little treat from time to time. Our dwarf rabbits Lisa and Michl love being fed dandelion leaves, and our cats Schnuri, Luna, Kunterbunt, Arni, and Blacky keep watch over the house and farm.

You arrive via the A10 from Salzburg to Villach or the A2 from Graz, Klagenfurt towards Salzburg to Villach, take the Ossiacher See motorway exit, head towards Ossiacher See, then at the roundabout take the third exit towards Treffen, Radenthein. Drive through the villages of Treffen and Einöde, then turn right towards Arriach. Drive through the village of Arriach, past the church and the fire station, cross a bridge and from there keep right. Stay on the main road and after approx. 3.5 km you will have reached Tengghof.
The region is next to the border with Italy and Slovenia. Enjoy hikes and excursions in and around Villach or relax on one of the lakes.
