The Tassenbacherhof
Located at the entrance to the small village of Strassen in the picturesque Puster valley, the Tassenbacherhof enjoys a central location surrounded by the Carnic Alps and the mighty Lienz and South Tyrolean Dolomites.
Renovated with loving care in 2012, this historic house unites centuries of history with modern architecture, satisfying even the most demanding guests.
In our exclusive and excellently-furnished luxury apartment, 250m² of spacious and well-lit rooms provide accommodations for 6-10 persons.
The apartment has a Finnish sauna which also acts as a sanarium, as well as a relaxation room made of stone pine, where you can rest and rejuvenate.
An expansive couch and a flat-screen satellite TV, a book corner and complimentary WiFi invite you to dive right in.
Fill the apartment with the scent of your very own home-baked bread in the wood-fired oven and take part in my cooking classes for a culinary adventure that will introduce you to our regional specialties and herbs.
The Tassenbacherhof is the ideal starting point for both simple and challenging hikes in the Eastern Tyrolean Alps.
Kilometers upon kilometers of paved cycling or mountain biking trails wind through the forests and meadows, and begin right at your front door.
Go climbing, hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, canyoning, parasailing, or visit the Loacker theme park, Vitalpinum (herb theme park), summer toboggan run, wild animal park, take a trip on a horse carriage, or go on a shopping spree in Lienz and around South Tyrol.
