The Sturm-Archehof is one of more than 80 ark farms in Austria and is run as an organic farm in the Möll Valley in Carinthia. Visit a farm where humans and nature are in harmony and where life is still lived in the rhythm of the four seasons.
In summer, stroll along the literature trail to the amphibian pond and the farm's own biotope. Learn more about endangered livestock breeds and discover a comprehensive farm nature conservation plan implemented in harmony with nature on the farm.
The farm is home to Tauernschecken goats, brown mountain sheep, Cröllwitzer turkeys, Austrian land geese, ducks, a colorful flock of chickens, rabbits, bees, trout, cats, and dogs, among others. All animals are free to roam around the farm.
Benefit from the vibrant colors of the flowers and herbs and enjoy the unobstructed view of nature and across the valley.
Spend your holiday with your extended family or friends in the spacious holiday apartments, offering 6–8 beds across 130 square meters.
The apartments feature untreated stone pine furniture, crafted in the farm's own wood workshop.
Get to know Hubert Pucher, who runs a small, very special shop in the heart of the Sturm-Archehof and has been making buttons there for 20 years. Unique pieces made from stag horn, cow horn, various woods, stone, and ceramics are created in the workshop, as well as ballpoint pens, desk stands, wooden bowls, nativity scenes, and jewelry.
Along the Möll river, the literature trail guides you through the grey alder forest. Texts from Angelina Pucher's books invite you to reflect, while seating areas invite you to linger and “feel nature”.

The Sturm-Archehof is located about a 20-minute walk from the town center, nestled in a beautiful natural landscape. You can join the 12 km long cross-country ski trail directly at the farm. Right next to the farm is a small toboggan run, where children love to play and romp around in the evening, building snowmen and snow caves. A 10-minute walk from the farm is an ice rink and a 2 km long toboggan run. Ice climbing, snowshoe hiking... Immerse yourself in a winter wonderland.
A winter like it used to be. Indescribably beautiful moments.
Sledding on the street on New Year's Eve under a full moon. Skiing in the sunshine, blue skies, and mild temperatures. And finally, on this New Year's Eve, fireworks could be launched into the air once again to welcome the new year.

The Knopfmacherstube on the Sturm-Archehof is a small handicraft shop where everything offered for sale is made on-site from natural materials.
Hubert has been making buttons since 1994 and has gradually grown into the ancient craft.
That is why the Knopfmacherstube is called the "Button Maker's Workshop", because it all started with buttons.
But the Knopfmacherstube does not only offer buttons made of stag horn, cow horn, wood, ceramics, and stone; you will also find bowls, desk organizers, ballpoint pens, books by the farmer's wife Angelina Pucher, photo cards, felt slippers...
All the furniture you find in the holiday apartment was also created in the workshop of button maker Hubert Pucher. Not only the stone pine bed or the picture frame, but also the doors, right down to the toilet paper holder and the lampshades.
Everything is crafted on the farm.
We are particularly proud of this.
At the Sturm-Archehof, animals that are threatened with extinction are kept.
Animals that have names and are personalities, fellow creatures.
Brown Mountain sheep with wonderful names like Arthemisia, Athena, Anastasia, Marischka, Mariella….
Tauernschecken goats with a proud buck named Tassilo in the herd. Austrian Landgeese, Cröllwitzer turkeys, Blue Vienna rabbits, Sulmtaler chickens, bees, fish, cats, dogs....
Almost all animals are allowed to roam freely around the farm. An idyll that is rarely found nowadays.

The "Freiheit" holiday apartment is located in the attic of the beautiful old farmhouse and, with 90m² of space, offers plenty of room to spread out and feel at ease.
The apartment is lovingly furnished with custom-made, untreated solid wood furniture crafted from larch, Swiss stone pine, and reclaimed spruce.
An old workbench has become the "kitchen bar" and delights both young and old.

The small, cozy apartment "Geborgenheit" is located in the attic of the old farmhouse and has a separate bathroom and a kitchenette. The apartment's anteroom, which includes a small library, is also available for use.

From the balcony, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and the activities on the farm.

Our farm is located in the municipality of Heiligenblut am Großglockner. When arriving, drive along the main road through the village center of Heiligenblut. After the valley station of the Heiligenbluter Bergbahnen, first head left down to the Kärntnerhof and from there continue right in the direction of "Winkl". From here on, always keep to the right. 3 smaller bridges will follow. At the 4th bridge and the 2nd chapel, you will find the Sturm-Archehof.
