The Stroneggerhof is located at approx. 900m above sea level on the Koralpe (2140m) in an unobstructed, secluded location. The ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours.
The spacious courtyard estate invites you to linger everywhere. In natural and absolutely peaceful surroundings, you can truly unwind and simply enjoy the view.
Especially for visitors interested in nature, our forest, the fragrant mountain meadows, the orchard with pear, apple, plum, cherry, and walnut trees, and the mountain stream with its waterfall offer a rewarding area to explore. A special highlight is the mountain spring from which we source our pure drinking water.
In the evening, you can wind down the day with a good glass of wine in one of the cozy seating areas under the walnut trees or by the grill.
Our primary goal is to give you the feeling of spending a "holiday with friends".
In addition, we want to let you share in life and work in and with nature. We view our farm and the surrounding land as part of creation, entrusted to us in Christian responsibility for a time.
Healthy air, fresh spring water, and healthy, natural food are not something we take for granted, even though we have them at our disposal daily and without limit.

Do you like to stay active? – whether skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, or winter hiking. We offer a wide range of possibilities for your family winter vacation at moderate prices, without any pretentious fuss, yet still sensational.
You can try out your sled right behind the house. Where the cows graze in summer, you can leave your tracks in the untouched snow on snowshoes or cross-country skis during your winter holiday.
In the evening, enjoy Bavarian curling at the nearby inn, or a cozy evening in a cabin with roast pork by the warming fireplace.
The Koralpe family ski area is just a 10-minute drive from the farm to the lift station. A seasonal ski bus also operates, with the stop located close to the farm. In this family-friendly ski area, you will find cozy mountain huts to stop by and refuel.
Ski rental, ski school, children's programs, toboggan rides, cross-country skiing, and winter hiking are all available. The main slopes are equipped with snowmaking systems and can be used throughout the season. From a child-friendly sledding slope to a black run, everything is there.
Wonderfully fragrant herbs await you in the garden, surrounded by berries and fine vegetable varieties. All carefully coordinated, tended, and grown with great care by the farmer's wife. Everything is at the guests' disposal. Homemade jams included.
Our horses are currently not at the farm. Instead, there are many interesting and child-friendly four-legged friends. By caring for and daily tending to the animals, children learn in a playful way to handle them in a calm, responsible, and fearless manner. Then there are the goats, who are always very attentive and love to join you for walks. In spring, there are usually young goat kids. Chickens scratch in the sand, and in the morning, fresh breakfast eggs lie in the nest. The cats "Feli" and "Jimmi" catch mice and love to be petted. New additions are the kittens "Sylvester" and "Selma" . Young cattle graze peacefully in the pastures, and the runner ducks "Ernie" and "Bert", as well as "Bert" and "Ernie" waddle around the corner.
Nature is our best offering: the fresh spring water that we are privileged to drink every day and that we also offer to our guests. Our forest is certified and managed in a near-natural and sustainable manner. We use our own wood for construction and heat our property in a CO²-neutral way. We generate electricity with our PV system and are over 90% energy self-sufficient.

The mild climate in Südkärnten gurantee bathing weather from the beginning of May. In the eastern part of Carinthia, the Lavanttal, create food producers really culinary experiences.
