Steinkellner Brentl

The gentle babbling of a stream. The singing of birds. Fresh, cool mountain air. And the sound of cowbells somewhere in the nearby surroundings.

This is the backdrop that awaits you at the Steinkellner-Brentl in Reichenfels. Located 1,550 m above sea level, the cabin is set right in the middle of the Klippitztörl ski area. It is already over 100 years old, but has been repeatedly modernized with loving attention to detail (last renovated in summer 2023). With its rustic charm, it radiates pure coziness. 

The cabin is fully equipped with a kitchen (wood and electric stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine) and a cozy parlor (tables with benches and TV), two bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x three single beds), sanitary facilities (bathroom and WC), and a fully automatic pellet heating system. In front of the cabin is a large terrace where you can enjoy the sun during the day and sit together around the fire bowl in the evening. To complement this, you can conjure up a delicious meal on the charcoal grill.

Thanks to its great location, the cabin is perfect for hikers and families. All around, you can choose from short, leisurely walks as well as longer, more demanding hiking routes. After just under an hour's walk, you will reach the reservoir lake on the Klippitztörl and the starting point of the summer toboggan run as a highlight of your hike.

Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can escape everyday stress on the alpine pasture and find peace and quiet. With the crackling of the stove fire in your ears, the fresh mountain air in your nose, and the green nature in sight. Take some time out and visit our cabin - we look forward to welcoming you!
