Steinkellner Brentl

The stream is burbling softly. The birds are singing. The mountain air is fresh and cool. The sound of cowbells can be heard in the distance.

That’s the idyllic scenery that awaits you at the mountain cabin “Steinkellner-Brentl” in Reichenfels. The cabin is set in the ski resort “Klippitztörl” at an altitude of 1,550 m. It’s more than 100 years old but has constantly been modernised with a great passion for details. A rustic and comfortable ambience will welcome you here.

The cabin is fully equipped with kitchen (wood-fired stove and electric stove, oven, fridge, coffee machine), living room (two tables with benches, sofa and TV), a bedroom with five beds, sanitary facilities (bathtub and toilet) and a central heating (wood). There’s enough fire wood to heat the oven. A large terrace in front of the cabin is the perfect place to enjoy the sun during the day and sit together around the outdoor fireplace at night. You can prepare delicious meals on the charcoal barbecue.

Thanks to its location, the cabin is perfect for hikers and families. A lot of short country walks or longer, more demanding hiking trails start in the immediate surroundings. A one-hour’s walk will take you to the reservoir of the ski resort “Klippitztörl” and the starting point of the summer toboggan run. A highlight!

Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life and unwind.
