About Us
As the name suggests, our “Sonnenhütte” enjoys a very sunny hillside setting in the National Park town of Bramberg am Wildkogel. Located just a little below the mid-station of the “Smaragdbahn” lift, our hut treats you to breathtaking views of the Hohe Tauern and Kitzbühel Alps peaks.
Inside the hut itself, which accommodates up to 7 people, you will enjoy complete comfort including electricity and running water, meaning you will want for nothing during your holidays. We only recently renovated our Sonnenhütte, investing lots of love and hard work, and ensuring it lost none of its originality and authenticity in the process. During remodeling, we used different types of wood, each of which is pleasingly fragrant in its own unique way.
In summer, you will wake up amid breathtaking landscapes and enjoy picture-book scenery. Close to the Sonnenhütte, you will find numerous hiking paths and high-alpine mountain bike trails that invite you to indulge your love for outdoor sports.
In winter, you will find yourself in the heart of the Bramberg-Wildkogel Arena ski area. After you get up, you will be able to clamp on your skis outside the front door and slice your way back to the valley below. Or, if you prefer, sit on a sled and slide down the world’s longest natural toboggan run, which also passes right by the hut.

Cozy 2-room hut
1 - 7 People
Located in the front room is a small kitchen with 2-burner electric range, sink, filter coffeemaker and electric water jug. In the parlor, you will find a corner bench, wood-burning stove, bunkbed and an armchair-bed. In the four-bed room, there is one double bed as well as bunkbeds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin and electric water heater. Separate WC.
The price does not include local tourism taxes or utility costs.

In summer, our hut can be reached by car via a forestry road. A fenced-in parking area for 2 cars is located in front of the hut.
Winter:
Ride the Smaragdbahn lift up to the mid-station, then ski or sled to the hut, located just below. You can park your car for free on the Smaragdbahn car park. Your hosts will be happy to organize luggage transportation on your behalf for an additional fee.
