Our alpine cabin is 2,250 m above sea level on our own private alpine pasture, the Seppenalm, amidst a high-alpine meadow region on the much-praised "Mölltaler Sonnseite" side, with a fantastic view right across the valley and the mountains in the Hohe Tauern national park as far as Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner.

Enjoy the mountain tranquillity and peace in this remote location and discover the breathtaking nature and animal life of the Alps. You can set out on both gentle and more challenging hiking tours straight from the cabin. The Hohe Tauern national park and the Großglockner high alpine road offer our guests a varied holiday programme.

Our cabin -a renovated herder's cabin, is comfortable and homely, fully equipped, and in a very peaceful remote location.

In summer the cabin is accessible by car via an alpine path. In winter it isat the heart of the Heiligenblut/Großglockner ski resort. 100 m from the pistes, access in winter via the gondola lift and departure on skis with a snowmobile.

The Seppenalmhütte can be hired in the period from Christmas-Easter and mid-June-25th September. You can check out current availability online at www.seppenbauer.at

The prices depend on the season and the number of people, from 2 - 6 persons - EUR 58 - EUR 130 + final cleaning EUR 50 + electricity. Discounts for children on request. Visitor’s tax included. Pets welcome. Price per day per pet EUR 6.

Summer - Arrival via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road (ATTENTION toll road). From Salzburg - to Bruck - Fusch - Ferleiten. From Carinthia via B106 Mölltal Bundesstraße to Heiligenblut.

Meeting point at the Kasereck parking lot. Together with the landlords drive up to the alpine hut - approx. 3 km gravel road, easy to drive on / four-wheel drive cars perfect, normal cars easy to drive on (but not lowered vehicles),
