Welcome to Schönbuch
Are you looking for a place where you can play the guitar undisturbed? Where you can walk barefoot across the dew-wet grass or do your yoga exercises in peace? Then you've come to the right place!
Reduced to the essentials, you will find plenty of space here: both inside and outside.
Schönbuch is a renovated farmhouse, situated at 850 meters above sea level in a truly undisturbed, secluded location. From the Lienz Dolomites to the Kreuzeck group, you can overlook the Carinthian Drau Valley from here. The gentle mooing of grazing animals and the chirping of birds enhance the feeling of being back at the very core of life.
The surroundings around the cabin tempt you to go on exploration tours: gathering mushrooms, berries, and herbs, and preparing a delicious lunch with them on the wood stove—this is how a vacation day in Schönbuch can be spent in total comfort. In the evening, you sit by the fire bowl and look down into the valley, where the cars move like fireflies.
By the way: as secluded as Schönbuch is, you can also return to civilization just as quickly: a 10-minute drive and you reach the small town of Steinfeld.
