Anthering's central location makes it particularly attractive. An ideal starting point for relaxation and adventure in equal measure.
Breakfast basket

A real highlight is our breakfast basket, which is served on request with our own farm produce. Fresh milk, homemade jams, crusty bread, honey and much more ensure a perfect start to the day.
Helping out on the farm
For those who want to experience country life up close, there is the opportunity to help out on the farm. Whether caring for animals, tilling fields or making homemade products - every day here is a special experience.

Welcome to our organic dairy farm in Anthering, just a few kilometers north of Salzburg. Our farm is located in the beautiful Salzburg Lake District, surrounded by the lakes Obertrumer See, Mattsee, and Wallersee. From here, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Tennengebirge mountains, the Bavarian Alps, and the city of Salzburg.

The farm is nestled among 30 hectares of meadows and 8 hectares of our own forest – the perfect place to relax, explore, and unwind in nature.

Our Organic Farm – With Heart and Soul

Since November 2021, we’ve been running our certified organic hay milk farm with passion and care. Around 35 dairy cows, 10 calves, 4 pigs, 2 sheep, approximately 40 chickens, 2 dogs, 6 cats, and rabbits live with us on the farm. Children especially love meeting and caring for the animals.

Two Holiday Apartments with a View

In our newly built farmhouse (completed in 2024), we offer two modern holiday apartments, sized 55 m² and 65 m². Each apartment features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet, and a balcony with panoramic views of our meadows and the surrounding mountains. An additional double room is also available – perfect for larger families or friends traveling together.

Get Involved in Farm Life

If you’re interested, you’re welcome to join in with the daily farm work – feeding animals, helping in the fields, or making homemade products. Every day on the farm offers a new and meaningful experience.

Nature All Year Round – Summer & Winter

In summer, the nearby lakes invite you to swim, paddle, or simply relax. A local favorite is the Anthering Swing Trail – a forest path with creative swings for kids.
In winter, enjoy ice skating in Salzburg or the surrounding villages – or, for the brave, try ice bathing in Lake Obertrumer or one of the nearby lakes. Thanks to the train station in town, you’ll also have easy access to ski areas in the region.
