Our alpine cabin is located at approximately 1,300m, perfect for relaxing and recharging your batteries.

The Schoberhütte is located on the Spielbergalm with magnificent views of the Untersberg and the surrounding area of Salzburg. Enjoy the gentle hills on the alpine pasture and the lush meadows.

Our Schoberhütte has been newly renovated and offers two holiday flats that can be used together. Both holiday apartments have their own entrance, a bathroom with shower and separate WC, a kitchen with seating and a private wooden terrace with a fantastic view.

In summer, you can drive up to the hut on the toll road. In winter you can drive up to the 1st barrier and we will take you from there to the hut. You can park at the barrier, approx. 3 km from the hut. The Gasthaus Spielbergalm is a 10-minute walk from the hut and serves Salzburg specialities next to the Latschenalm.

In summer, you can explore the surrounding area on the various hiking trails or mountain bike routes. The Hintersee lake, the Wiestal reservoir and the Faistenau rock pool provide cool refreshment. You can visit the Fuschlsee, Mondsee, Attersee and Wolfgangsee lakes by road bike or e-bike on the well-developed cycle paths. The Mozart city of Salzburg, which you can reach in 30 minutes by car, can also provide a change of scenery.

Krispl is known for lots of snow in winter. So enjoy the snow-covered slopes, the peace and quiet in the mountains and the warm stove in the hut. The Gaissau Hintersee ski area, which is currently in style, is perfect for snowshoe hikes, ski tours and sledging. In the run-up to Christmas, the Christmas markets on Lake Wolfgangsee and in the city of Salzburg are a highlight.

The holiday flat offers a bedroom with double bed and bunk bed, a dormitory with 4 beds in the loft, a kitchen with seating for 10 people and a bathroom with shower and extra WC. The flat is heated with a pellet stove and can be connected to the other holiday flat via a connecting door. The second holiday flat has a bedroom with 2 double beds, a well-equipped kitchen with wood-burning stove, a living room with sofa bed and a bathroom with shower and extra WC. The terrace in front of the hut has seating and loungers for everyone.
