About Us
Welcome to the mountains of the Grossglockner and to the Schlosswirt Hotel and Chalets with rustic parlors, individually designed rooms, flickering candles, sauna, steam bath, and open fireplaces. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger and enjoy.
High-alpine winter experience in the Grossglockner ski area up to 2,900m. Ski and snowboard pass, ski guiding, guided ski tours, winter horseback riding, ice climbing, sauna, Physiotherm infrared cabin, and steam bath. Here you will find the winter you have been looking for since childhood.
Farm products and catering
As farm products of our own production or from partner organic and regional farms, we offer:
fresh eggs, our own apple juice, home-baked bread, smoked bacon, sausage, meat, organic milk, organic yogurt, organic fruit whey.
In summer, products from our garden such as various salads, vegetables and fruit, herbs.
Animals
Animals we keep on our farm:
Cows - our fully grown Zebus Frida, Flori, Milka and Lorenz with offspring Max and Bambi, Tyrolean Grey cattle Hanna and Holdi, donkeys Lili, Laura, Lotte and Lola, our goat Klara, pigs and chickens, dog Elsa and tomcat Felix.

Arrival
Directions WINTER: From Germany via Kufstein: please make sure that you do not travel via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road as it is closed in winter, and do not rely on your navigation system. We therefore recommend entering Felbertauern Tunnel or Lienz as an intermediate destination in your GPS.
In summer, arrival via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is possible (toll road).
From Vienna, Graz or Salzburg: Via the A10 motorway, exit Spittal an der Drau, Lienz onto the E66, then onto the 100 towards Lienz and after approx. 5 km turn onto the 106 towards the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Our hotel is located in the village of Döllach on the right side after approx. 50 km. You can also find us on Google Maps: Hotel Schlosswirt, Döllach, Großkirchheim.
Fully committed to sustainability, we offer a charging station for electric cars. This is located directly on our Hotel & Chalets Schlosswirt premises.
