About Us
A warm welcome to our organic family-friendly farm Hotz. Holidays on the sunny side of life at an altitude of 850 m.
Wake up in the family room or in the holiday apartment. Feel the sun caress your skin, listen to the birds singing - well, I can actually stay in bed because I’m on holiday.
At 17:00, it’s time to go to the cow barn! Let’s feed the calves and milk the cows. Try a sip of fresh organic milk. The scent of organic hay hangs in the air. Feel straw and hay on your skin.
Don’t forget to bring your hiking boots! Do you know how life of young cattle on the alpine pastures look like? Do you know which home-made culinary delights are served in the mountain cabins?
Take the CABLE CAR up the mountain for free. Hike up to the mountain top or simply marvel at the scenery. Take a refreshing dip in the public outdoor pool or in the lakes. A holiday for your soul! All of this is free of charge with the local guest card “Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard.
Speed around the farmyard in a go-kart with two seats.
A warm SUMMER’S NIGHT, the wood is crackling in the campfire. We roast bread on sticks. Try a glass of home-made cider with the farmer. Gaze at the stars before going to bed.

About Us
A warm welcome to our organic family-friendly farm Hotz. Fun in the snow on the sunny side of life, at an altitude of 850 m.
You’ll live in a family room with shower/WC and balcony or a cosy holiday apartment, each of them furnished with great care. Take in the breathtaking view of snow-covered mountains directly from your window!
Private T-bar lift and children’s lift for skiers of all ages. Only natural snow! Open on weekends and during school holidays. Snow line: +43 7563 375. Family-friendly pistes for all ages.
Start of the cross-country ski trail to the romantic Winklertal valley! Hillside for tobogganing and sledging, especially for small kids. Would you like to go for a winter walk with or without snowshoes, feel the warm winter’s sun caress your skin and marvel at the glistening snow?
Eat a home-made “Bauernkrapfen”, a traditional fried yeast dough pastry, and warm up next to the tiled stove! Do you still have enough energy for a fun-filled snowball fight or for building a snow castle? Go to the barn and see our organic dairy cows, calves, rabbits, chicken and cats.

A floodlit natural toboggan run in only 1 km distance is a great attraction! The nearby ski resort “Wurzeralm” offers reliable snow cover.

Animals
There is always something to do on our farm – because the cows, calves, cats, and rabbits are hungry and look forward to many helping hands.
So be sure to pack rubber boots and clothes that can get dirty, because on the farm, everyone rolls up their sleeves.
Did you know that a calf remains particularly trusting if it gets lots of closeness and affection in its first few days? Twice a day it gets fresh milk – and you are very welcome to help with the feeding.
At 5 pm it's stable time: Our cows are milked, and you can be there live and taste what freshly milked organic milk tastes like.
Together, we drive the cows out to the pasture every day and bring them back to the stable – we also look forward to your help here.
A real farm experience – to help out, marvel at, and fall in love with.

Welcome to our bright and spacious family apartment! Spanning a generous 50 m², this comfortable non-smoking accommodation offers everything you need for a relaxing family holiday.
It features two separate bedrooms, one with a cozy double bed and the other with a bunk bed. The living and dining area invites you to linger and relax. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired – with a 4-ring stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and even an egg cooker, everything is provided for your self-catering needs. A bathroom with a shower and hairdryer ensures your comfort.
Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape from your private balcony or terrace. Free Wi-Fi and a TV are, of course, included. Fresh towels and bed linen are ready for you. For our youngest guests, we are happy to provide a cot upon request. Pets are also very welcome in this apartment.

Arrival
Take the A9 Pyhrnautobahn motorway – Roßleithen exit and drive towards Windischgarsten/Roßleithen.
After the motorway exit, drive through the village of Roßleithen and follow the bypass road. At the Gasthof Grudner, turn towards Oberweng. From there, drive up the mountain road and, once at the top, turn right at the first intersection to get closer to the mountains. At the next intersection, which has more houses, turn left and follow the access road "Schnecken" until you arrive.
Free parking spaces are located directly at the farm.
