Schafferalm

The Schafferalm is an exclusive restored 300-year-old chalet in St. Stefan ob Leoben, in a blissfully quiet location with a fantastic view across the valley. You can enjoy pure relaxation here surrounded by all the modern facilities you would need, but in an authentic style.

You'll find a large, painstakingly restored farmhouse spread across 235m² with a masonry heater, wood-burning stove and fully equipped kitchen with a cosy seating area and tastefully decorated bedroom. All rooms have shower/bathroom and WC. Aside from the 1 single and 4 double rooms we can add capacity for further persons with additional beds or mattresses (on request).

In front of the cabin you'll find a large seating terrace, a sunbathing area, a walled BBQ and for the children, a tree house with a climbing rope and swing made out of natural materials. For seminars there's a large seminar room available, measuring 60 m² with modern equipment. Venturing out of the house: hiking, mountain biking, running, picking 'Schwammerl' (mushrooms) and collecting alpine herbs.
