Adventure holiday in a shepherd's wagon!

The Schäferwagen is for anyone who wants to experience pure nature and tranquillity, adventure or a romantic weekend! Our farm with the small log cabin and our shepherd's wagon is situated at approx. 820 metres above sea level. Our farm is about 400 metres away from the shepherd's caravan.

The living/sleeping area has a small camping sink, a small "kitchen corner" with a gas cooker and camping crockery, a double bed and a very cosy wood-burning stove. A small 500Wh solar storage unit is available for small electronic devices.

For showering, there is either an open-air shower or a shower tent, in which you can also place the separate dry toilet. On dry days, you can drive to the shepherd's hut in an off-road vehicle, otherwise you can reach it via a 400 metre footpath.

In the summer months, hiking is very popular with us, as you can try out various hiking routes directly from our farm. Mountain bikers and racing cyclists will also find countless marked routes in the area.

The Wiestal reservoir is just 5 minutes away from us by car, where you can cool off even in hot summer weather.

In winter, the region invites you to go ski touring and snowshoe hiking. The disused Gaissau-Hintersee ski area has become a ski touring Eldorado and offers something for everyone.

If you feel the need for a cultural experience, the city of Salzburg is just a 25-minute drive away.
