Obere Sandrisser Hütte

This cabin is enthroned above the tree line and offers an uninterrupted panoramic view of the Nock mountains up to the Karawanks and the Carnic Alps. During the ascent to the cabin you will already enjoy wonderful impressions and a view to the south. Only 20 minutes' walk from the cabin is the Anderlesee (alpine lake) on the "Blutigen Alm", one of the many peaks in the Nock mountains, which are easy to hike to from the cabin. Following the hike, the cabin's own sauna is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a feeling of well-being.

Features: Newly renovated alpine cabin, fully-equipped kitchen with walled wood-burning stove (providing heating for the whole cabin and for the tiled stove in the vestibule), sink with hot running water, large seating area, cosy corner with sofa (extra bed for 2 persons), food storage area in the vestibule. Stairs leading to the first floor with 2 rooms (double bed with cot, 3-bed room with extra bed and mattress).Bed linen available on request for a surcharge. In the cellar there is a large bathroom with shower/WC, washbasin, sauna; plus a recreation room (suitable as a relaxation room or playroom), small wine cellar. Electricity (solar power) max. 500 watts. Living area partly appointed in Swiss pine. Seating in front of the cabin, barbecue area, well, play stream, fenced cabin area, sun loungers.

Location: High above the tree line (altitude of 1920 m) with uninterrupted panoramic views of the Nock mountains as far as the Karawanks.

Arrival: 7 km from Kremsbrücke (postcode 9862)  in the direction of Innekrems  (asphalt) up to the fork, then left onto the Sandrisseralm, then another 6 km of gravel road leading to the cabin.

Arrival meeting point: On our farm at 9853 Gmünd Moos 1, then travel together to the cabin to Innerkrems.
