Our picturesque self-catering chalet lies at a sunny standalone location amidst pastures, which are home for our young cattle during the summer months. The chalet offers a beautiful view of the Paltental and surrounding mountains.

You can reach the chalet from Trieben by car via a forest road. During the winter, you may need snow chains or may reach the cabin only by snowshoeing.

The chalet is equipped with a patio, a big eat-in kitchen with a wood-stove, a double room and a four-bed room, a bathroom and a toilet.

Carpe diem! – Make the most of your day!

You can relax at the chalet and enjoy the silence or use your regained energy for numerous activities. The surrounding forests provide you with the perfect possibility of collecting mushrooms or berries. Furthermore, various mountain tops and managed huts, which offer local specialities to tired hikers, are within reachable distance from our chalet. Children will find countless ways to play around and are free to be creative. Whether it is building dams, designing flower garlands or having fun in the new Indian village – it is up to them!

For those who want even more action, numerous possibilities for sports, culture or other leisure time activities can be found within 20km.

The Gesäuse national park, the famous Admont abbey and the Strechau castle guarantee unforgettable experiences. Moreover, various lakes, indoor pools and zoos offer possibilities for recreation. Also sports enthusiasts will not miss out: mountain biking, rafting, rock climbing, hiking or horseback riding offer endless possibilities to be active.
