About Us

OBERE RONER KASA:

The cabin is located in a high valley at an altitude of approx.1.450 m above sea level.
An idyllic splashing stream is just next to the cabin and is perfect for a Kneipp cure.
We have lovingly renovated our alpine cabin. It resulted in a very cosy and spacious kitchen/living room with new oven - with glass door, new cutlery, fridge, two large new groups of seating. The bathroom was likewise newly designed - with shower and WC. Immediately next to the ground floor bathroom there is a double room. A new wooden staircase leads to the rooms on the first floor. There are two double rooms and four beds in the attic.  Gas heating and gas lighting are provided. There is electricity to charge your mobile and/or for quick use of the hairdryer. Hot running water is available. In front of the cabin there is a large seating area, a well and a barbecue. Baby travel cot available upon request. Other alpine cabins are in the immediate vicinity.

Prices from 1 Jan 2012:

In the low season (May, June, September), the cabin costs EUR 390 per week and in the high season (July, August) EUR 510 per week, plus local tax and gas charges.
Final cleaning EUR 40.
For dogs we charge EUR 2 per night and animal.

The alpine cabin has three double rooms and four beds in the attic. It is equipped with a large, rustic kitchen/living room with kitchen sink, wood-burning stove, gas heating, gas light and a fridge. The cabin has a shower with WC and washbasin. Hot and cold running water is available. In front of the cabin there is a large seating area and a well. A barbecue is available.

Arrival

The journey to the Obere Roner Kasa is possible with your own car. Upon arrival, we will meet at the Roner Hof, where we will drive together to the alpine hut. The hut is about 2 km away in the Wagenitz Valley, and the road is easily accessible.

Arrival at the farm: From the A10, take the B106 Mölltal highway to Mörtschach. After the gas station in the village center, drive about 3 km uphill towards Pirkachberg.
